Cabinet Making Apprentice – McCarthy Bespoke Kitchens Location: East Cork Full-time Apprenticeship (40 hours per week) McCarthy Bespoke Kitchens is looking for a motivated apprentice to join our workshop. We design, manufacture and install high-end bespoke kitchens, wardrobes and fitted furniture using premium materials and modern machinery. This is a unique opportunity where You'll gain hands-on experience in every stage of the process, from manufacturing in the workshop to installing finished projects in customers' homes. What you'll learn: Cabinet making and furniture construction Reading drawings and measuring accurately Safe use of woodworking machinery and hand tools Assembly of bespoke kitchens and fitted furniture Installation on site Finishing techniques and workshop organisation Problem-solving and attention to detail We're looking for someone who: Has a genuine interest in woodworking and craftsmanship Is reliable, punctual and eager to learn Has good attention to detail Works well independently and as part of a team Has a positive attitude and strong work ethic Holds a full driving licence (preferred but not essential) Working hours: The role is based on a 40-hour week. As our work varies between workshop manufacturing and on-site installations, some days may be longer than others, with shorter days or time off in lieu where appropriate. Overtime may also be available.
