Experienced Excavator Driver
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Excavator Driver to join our team on an active construction project based in Drogheda. The successful candidate will be a competent, safety-conscious operator with a proven track record on civil engineering or groundworks projects.
Key Responsibilities
- Operate 360° excavators of varying sizes (5T – 35T) safely and efficiently
- Carry out excavation, bulk earthmoving, and grading works
- Install drainage, ducting, and service trenches to specification
- Work closely with site foreman and project team to meet programme targets
- Carry out daily pre-use checks and maintain plant in good working order
- Comply with all site safety rules, risk assessments, and method statements
- Assist with general site duties as required
Requirements
- Minimum 3 years' proven experience operating 360° excavators
- Valid CPCS Card (A59) or equivalent CSCS/IPAF certification
- Valid Safe Pass card
- Manual Handling certificate
- Strong knowledge of health & safety on construction sites
- Ability to read and interpret site drawings and levels
- Reliable, punctual, and a strong team player
Desirable
- Experience with GPS/machine control systems (Leica, Trimble, or similar)
- Experience on civil engineering, road, or utility projects
- Valid full driving licence
Pay: €13.86-€26.75 per hour
