With over four decades of industry experience, we have built a reputation for delivering high-quality projects and innovative solutions across a broad range of sectors. Due to continued expansion, we are seeking an experienced and motivated Finishing Foreman to join our growing team in Tipperary.

About the Role

As Finishing Foreman, you will take responsibility for managing the final stages of construction projects, ensuring all finishing works are completed safely, on schedule, and to the highest quality standards.

You will coordinate subcontractors and site teams, oversee quality control procedures, and ensure projects are delivered to a high standard prior to client handover.

Key Responsibilities

Manage and oversee all finishing works, including:

· Flooring

· Painting and decorating

· Tiling

· Joinery and carpentry

· Final fixtures and fittings

· Coordinate and supervise subcontractors to ensure work is completed on time and in line with project specifications.

· Carry out quality inspections and implement corrective actions where required.

· Manage snagging activities and ensure timely resolution of defects.

· Maintain the highest standards of health, safety, and environmental compliance on site.

· Liaise with Project Managers, clients, consultants, and site personnel to ensure project objectives are achieved.

· Monitor material deliveries and resource allocation to avoid delays. Assist in achieving successful project completion and handover.

Requirements

· 1–5+ years' experience as a Finishing Foreman or in a similar supervisory role.

· Proven track record delivering high-quality residential and/or commercial projects.

· Strong knowledge of finishing trades, including plastering, painting, tiling, joinery, and fit-out works.

· Experience managing subcontractors and coordinating multiple trades.

· Excellent organisational, planning, and problem-solving skills.

· Ability to work effectively under pressure and meet project deadlines.

· Strong communication and leadership abilities.

· Comprehensive understanding of Irish health and safety regulations and site practices.

· Valid Safe Pass and CSCS card (or equivalent).

Desirable

· Trade qualification, apprenticeship, or construction-related certification.

· Experience working with Irish main contractors.

· Knowledge of Irish building regulations and construction standards.

· Familiarity with construction management software and digital reporting tools.
