Finishing Foreman

The role
We are seeking an experienced, professional Finishing Foreman to manage the day to day finishing of one of our Dublin City Centre based projects.

Key Responsibilities

• Ensuring work is carried out in accordance with the specification and programme
• Co-ordinating and managing of subcontractors
• Ensuring work is carried out safely to the highest of standards
• Managing health and safety delivery on site
• Attending weekly management team meeting 
• Maintaining the site diary – recording manpower levels for each sub-contractor and keeping detailed notes of all site activities
• Compiling labour allocation sheets for Bennett direct and hired labour
• Assisting with the control of plant and equipment on site
• Co-ordinating and managing of subcontractors
• Ensuring work is carried out to the highest of standards
• Dealing with all health and safety issues on site
• Providing clear leadership and direction, to those under your control, while maintaining a professional manner is essential

You will need

• Minimum of 5 years General Foreman / Finishing Foreman experience, preferably within large sites
• Experience in finishing hotels, or at least one of our other key areas - commercial, residential, data centres
• Trade Qualification or Construction related qualification
• Extensive experience in effective management of sub-contractors
• Ability to work to tight deadlines
• Excellent interpersonal skills, strong oral and written communication skills
• PC Skills to complete timesheets, requisitions etc
