Overview

Viking Developments is seeking a reliable first fix carpenter to join our growing team in Boyle. Candidates must have a minimum of 5 Years experience in this role. The successful candidate will carry out all aspects of first fix carpentry on-site, contributing to the efficient delivery of high-quality construction projects.  

Key Responsibilities

• Carry out all first fix carpentry work on-site, including but not limited to roofing, stud partitions, shuttering etc. 
• Ensure all work is completed to a high standard.
• Supervising or mentoring junior carpenters/apprentices
• Reading drawings and working to specifications
• Collaborating with other trades on site.

Requirements

• A minimum of 5 years experience in this role.
• Experience working on residential and commercial projects
• Safe Pass and Manual Handling (or willingness to obtain)
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Good attention to detail and workmanship standards
• Own transport/tools required
