About the Role

CJ Construction Ltd is seeking an experienced and reliable Skilled Labourer / Senior Construction Operative to join our growing team. We specialise in high-quality home extensions, renovations, and bespoke fit-out projects, delivering exceptional workmanship and attention to detail for our clients.

This is an excellent opportunity for a motivated individual with extensive construction experience who takes pride in their work and can operate to a high standard with minimal supervision.

Key Responsibilities

• Assist with and carry out a wide range of construction tasks on residential extension and renovation projects.
• Work on bespoke fit-outs and finishing works to a high standard.
• Support site management in ensuring projects are completed safely, efficiently, and on schedule.
• Read and follow drawings and specifications where required.
• Maintain a clean, safe, and organised work environment.
• Liaise professionally with clients, subcontractors, and other team members.

Requirements

• Minimum 5 years’ experience in the construction industry.
• Proven experience working on extensions, renovations, and fit-out projects.
• Strong knowledge of construction practices and site safety.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• High attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship.
• Full clean driving licence essential.
• Own transport preferred.
• Excellent work ethic, reliability, and punctuality.
• References are required and will be checked.
