Job Title: Roofer / 2nd Fix Carpenter/2nd or 3rd Year Apprentice/ General Construction worker

Job Type: Full-time / Permanent

Company Overview:
We are a well-established construction company looking to expand our skilled team with a reliable and experienced Roofer / 2nd Fix Carpenter / Apprentice / General Construction Worker, Our projects range from roofing new and old to residential refurbishments to new build extensions, offering varied and rewarding work for the right candidate. Position for full time or part time work available.

Responsibilities:

• Carry out roofing work timber lath felt slate and general roof repairs
• Complete 2nd fix carpentry tasks such as doors, skirting, architraves, and flooring
• Read and interpret technical drawings and plans
• Ensure all work is completed to a high standard and within health & safety guidelines
• Collaborate with other trades and colleagues.

Requirements:

• Proven experience in roofing and 2nd fix carpentry and the construction industry
• Safe Pass & Manuel Handling
• Full driving licence and own tools
• Strong attention to detail and pride in workmanship
• Ability to work independently or as part of a team
